What I Learned from David Sarnoff:

David Sarnoff was a successful entrepreneur because he developed a clear vision early on and pursued it. He was able to see farther into the potential future than any of his colleagues and he had the determination and willpower to make the future he imagined become reality. His journey to success helped me to realize that in order to be successful, one must never give up hope that his/her dreams will come true if he/she decides to follow them. He was also very intelligent; he taught himself Morse code with a telegraph key that he purchased with his first paycheck. Sarnoff fought prejudice and rejection all his life, but continued to push through with determination and great personal strength. When he suggested that the radio become a household object, no one thought he had an important idea and he had to wait until after the first World War to see his dream become reality. His perseverance and foresight made him very successful and important to the world of broadcasting.
